Travaux, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM), is an award-winning developer of housing, schools, community centers, mixed-income and mixed-use neighborhoods, and other essential neighborhood assets. We provide development, construction, property management, and consulting services that deliver financial and social returns on your investments. Based on its long history of sustainable and accessible development, HACM decided to create Travaux in order to deploy that expertise to a broader range of projects in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin. Leveraging both expertise in affordable, sustainable housing, and its reputation via HACM, Travaux is committed to building a real estate development practice centered on its strengths.
To date, Travaux has completed over $52 million worth of construction since 2017 for a total of 161,496 square feet of residential space and 3,184 square feet of retail space.
Our Mission
Travaux is a full-service development and construction company with a social mission. We develop buildings and spaces that add value to the community as well as to our partners. When we begin work on a project, we do so with passion and heart, treating each project as our own.
Our objective is to provide our strong knowledge of the greater Milwaukee metro area and Southeastern Wisconsin real estate markets and trends to any and all projects.
